Breaking Mad are a collective of Black female psychotherapists that push for culturally sensitive services for the Black Community. Their workshop was a safe space to discuss mental health, culture, and identity. One exercise involved young people listening to statements read aloud by the facilitators about culture and identity. They were asked to step forward if they agreed with the statement or backwards if they disagreed. The exercise made for some interesting conversations about what identity means to them, and young people gave positive feedback about the workshop.
